Adopt a Seat

In appreciation of your support, the University recognizes your contributions through the Adopt-a-Seat Program.

Why is this important?

Alumni participation in giving - at any level - is greatly appreciated by everyone at HKUST, and especially by the students who benefit from your generosity the most.

The contribution will allow a vast variety of student initiatives as well as benefited projects to be implemented which will enrich student’s university life.

How will your money be used?

Your contributions are treated as the principal balance of the Alumni Endowment Fund (AEF) and is maintained in perpetuity. The principal is the basis of sustained annual income from various investments forming a reliable and viable source of support for many beneficial projects for students.

By selecting adopt-a-seat program, your contributions will be treated as general fund and The HKUST President and the Vice-Presidents will make decisions regarding its usage according to the strategic needs of the University.
